Jump to Recipe

This easy green bean recipe includes only 5 ingredients. Perfect side dish for any occasion especially thanksgiving.

vegan green bean with diced red bell pepper on plate with fork

I love green beans that involve garlic, black pepper, and lemon juice.

Green Beans have been a tradition in my family for as long as I can remember. My mom makes the best green beans I’ve ever tasted. Although, the green beans at the hot bar at Wholefoods are pretty good too. But don’t tell her I said that lol. But, seriously, my mom’s green bean recipe is so simple but includes potatoes and corn and it tastes like she put hours into it. She is always asked to bring her green beans at family gatherings.

Although, I aspire to make my green beans as good as my mom’s I wanted to make this recipe my own. Adding a sweet bell pepper takes and vegan cashew butter takes the flavor to another level. The great thing about green beans is that there is no one recipe. You can make them your own. I simply ask that you simply put a lot of love into your green bean recipe

What’s in this green bean recipe

  • Fresh green beans
  • Miyoko’s vegan butter
  • Red onion
  • Clove of garlic
