I’m sure you’ve asked yourself “What is the best gift for Mother’s Day?” or “What should I get for Mother’s Day on Amazon?” Well, I’ve got you covered from the best homemade gifts for Mother’s Day for people that are hard to buy for. Consider one of the options below if you haven’t picked up a gift yet.
Mother’s Day Gift Ideas on Amazon
I love shopping for gifts on Amazon. I recently got my mom a few gifts from Amazon with personalized messages and thanks to Amazon Prime they should be arriving on her doorstep on Mother’s Day. Amazon Prime is perfect for a last-minute gift. Currently, I’m loving Echo Show. It’s been a great way to keep up with my mom. That way we can both move around hands-free and cook while we catch up. Also, the smart plug is a great option for multi-tasking. You can turn on your lamp or things like the coffee maker with a command. Also, photo albums and wall decor are a great way (my personal fav) to show your loved ones you are thinking of them too.
Self-Care gift ideas
Give her the gift of de-stressing. We all wear many hats and we’re doing our best to balance it all. Help her relax and be comfortable while she’s getting it all done. I’ve listed some ideas below that I hope you find helpful.
Gift ideas for the kitchen
The kitchen is known as the heart of the home or the gathering place where laughs are exchanged, stories are shared, and much much more. I love to have all my kitchen essentials on hand and serving dishes for family gatherings. Check out some of the gift ideas below that are sure to be helpful at home.
- Berry Basket

- Baking Dishes with Bamboo Lids

Clean Beauty Ideas
What better gift to give than with non-toxic skincare and makeup products. As some of you may know, I’ve transitioned my skincare products to cleaner and safer products that can be used on everyone from a baby to your grandmother. Honest Beauty has some of the best clean skincare and makeup for all skin types complexion ranges. Since we are all leaning into self-care ideas we should do that with clean products. For the husband, that doesn’t know skincare I’ve listed a few of my favorites below:
Gardening & Plants
Microgreens, tree kits, and indoor garden pepper kits are the perfect gift for the woman that has a green thumb or beginner gardener. I love adding microgreens to salad, sandwiches, and burgers. Also, the DIY grow your own vegetable kit listed below is a lovely idea as well. Click the links below to check them out.
Book ideas
I love giving and receiving books. It’s the gift that keeps on giving. I’m recommending Michelle Obama’s book for obvious reasons, Sweet Potato Soul cookbook has so many delicious recipes or Cafe Gratitude’s new cookbook. If you don’t know, Cafe Gratitude is a plant-based restaurant with a few locations on the west coast. Southern California inspired the recipes from the cookbook. I just bought this cookbook, and I can’t wait to cook from it.
Online grocery shopping membership
I’ve been a member of Thrive Market for a while now. And, I love getting all my non-perishable health food and snacks from Thrive. I love how everything is divided by categories and it makes it easy to find gluten-free, vegan, paleo, etc. Also, I’ve been saving so much money. It’s way cheaper than going to the grocery store and they have great customer service too. If you are interested in getting a membership for a loved one you can get up to $20 in shopping credit by clicking on the image below.
Homemade gift ideas
Some of the best gifts come from gifts we make ourselves. Try making a floral arrangement or make a healthy batch of granola and add it to a glass jar and tie a bow around it for decoration. I hope you enjoyed these recommendations for mother’s day. xx – Shana
