Common Questions Answered

How to make crispy sweet potato wedges?

Toss the wedges in avocado oil, smoked paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper, then bake at 425°F for 25-30 minutes until golden brown and tender, flipping halfway through for even crispiness.

Do I need to pre-boil sweet potatoes for wedges?

No need to pre-boil; simply toss sweet potato wedges in avocado oil and flavorful spices, then bake for crispy perfection at 425°F.

Why are my potato wedges soggy?

Soggy potato wedges might result from overcrowding the baking sheet; ensure they’re spread out, allowing proper airflow for crispy results.
